Hymn and Scripture Challenge Open My Eyes That I May See and Jesus Never Fails

Two pages today to catch up with  the challenges at Patter's blog www.triplethescraps.blogspot.com.

I haven't had much time on the computer recently as it is the school holidays and just managing to post this as my son is at a friends !

I haven't heard either of these hymns before but again the words are really beautiful.

Apart from creating the pages , I really love choosing my scripture , the hymns have such beautiful words it's difficult to choose only one !

                                                  Cuttlebug Flower die and corner die

I love this verse from Exodus ! I asked someone to pray with me recently about a difficult situation. She told me to remember that the solution is always Jesus ! Then Patter posted this hymn for our challenge!  It's wonderful to know that The Lord is fighting for us and JESUS NEVER FAILS !
Here are the words to this beautiful hymn :

                         Earthly friends may prove untrue,
                         Doubts and fears assail;
                         One still loves
and cares for you;
                         One who will not fail.

                         Tho' the sky be dark and drear,
                         Fierce and strong the gale,
                         Just remember He is near,
                         And He will not fail.

                         In life's dark and bitter hour,
                         Love will still prevail;
                         Trust His everlasting power,
                         Jesus will not fail.

                         Chorus
                 Jesus never fails, Jesus never fails,
                 Heav'n and earth may pass away,
                 But Jesus never fails.

    1. Beautiful pages, Susan! I just took a break from my "Jesus Never Fails" page to see what's happening online! I'm so glad I did! Your first page is beautiful but your second page is gorgeous! I love the blue and the gorgeous dies and punches you used! Wonderful Scripture verses on both!
      I pray for you always, my friend! :o)

    2. Just GORGEOUS, Susan. I know this is the hand of our Almighty God! All morning long, as I've been making comments on the entries for Word Art Wednesday, I've been singing to myself the song "Ready my God, Thy will to see..Open My Eyes, illumine me...spirit divine", and then I came here and saw that first card - it was such a blessing from God. What a happy place to visit and know that God lead me here to fellowship with you. I SO appreciate you sharing your beautiful art in our challenges, Susan. He has given you such amazing artistic talent and I am very grateful that you share your gifts with us. All for HIS GLORY!
      May He bless you this week, as you have blessed me. Thanks SO MUCH for sharing.

    3. Susan, both your cards are gorgeous. The Jesus never fails one really speaks to me. The eye surgery is behind me and seems to be healing, although I had some very strange reactions to the anesthesia used. Knowing I had prayer support around the world made things so much easier. It was cataract surgery but not just ordinary kind since I also have macular degeneration in that eye. I am seeing better now and I thank the Lord for it. And I thank him for my blogger friends too.
