For this lesson , Patter chose the song Broken Hallelujah by the Afters. You can read Patter's wonderful post HERE .
I hadn't heard the song before but I think it's one whose words we can all identify with at some time.
As I was preparing my pages I was listening to a teaching on praise and the speaker used the verse Psalm 34:1 ,I knew I had to use it for my page.
Whatever difficulties we may be going through , our Lord is always with us ! It's not always easy to praise during those times and the words of the song really express how we can feel.
Here is my page for the scripture
And my page for the lyrics
Papermania patterned paper
Tattered Lace bows die
Sizzix label die
Sizzix pennant die
You can listen to the song below.
I hope to catch up with another page soon. The weather forecast isn't so good for the next few days !
Hope everyone is having a great summer!
Thanks for visiting today!

ReplyDeleteReally lovely pages. I love the bright and airy feel and the colours you've chosen. Its not easy to praise in the middle of a hard time but when we manage to we feel so much better because our focus is on God and not our difficulty. Thanks for sharing this. Thanks for your really lovely encouraging comments too, they meant a lot to me.
