This is my first post for The ABC Scripture Challenge on Patter's blog triplethescraps. I took some inspiration from Ann-Marie"s blog about being anchored to Jesus. What a wonderful thought to begin the New Year.Anchor ourselves to the Word and make it a priority in 2011.Haven't quite got how to upload pictures yet !!
Hi Susan! The Scripture Challenge was the whole reason I started my blog last January too! It's been so much fun! I've become your first follower so I can keep track of your Scripture pages! Your Anchor page is beautiful and I look forward to seeing more!...Nancy :o)
ReplyDeletevery nice thanks for sharing.... I love the die cuts....
ReplyDeleteLove the colors you chose and how you did the background! Such a wonderful page, and so glad to have you joining in! Blessings,
ReplyDeleteSimple truth stated simply perfectly. This is a perfect example of just enough embellishments. It all fits. I love it
ReplyDeleteHi Susan,
ReplyDeleteI just became a Follower. I love your page. That Scripture is so clear and so beautiful. Thank you for making it the spotlight of your page! The colors are wonderful, also.
Thank you for visiting the He IS Able blog. You asked how I made the "water" on my "A" page. I took a sheet of vellum, and tore it towards me (for the white tops on the waves), and then I painted it with Twinkling H20's. (paints) The paper will curl up when wet, so try to pin down the edges. And, then I attached it to the scrapbook page, and parts of it were too curled up to stick...that's it! It works even better to lay the strips flat, diagonally, 2 in one place...all on one sheet...to show depth! Easy!
I suggest if you come back, you click on "2010" and then "June." This first post tells all about how unique and how the blog came to be...it's pretty unique. Our badge can be added to your page simply by copying and pasting it on your blog! (If you'd like!)
