Hymn and Scripture Challenge STANDING ON THE PROMISES

This weeks challenge gave us a hymn which I have never sung before. When I followed Patters link to listen to the hymn  ,I recognised the tune, I had probably heard it many times on  Christian TV programmes from America. It is so different when you have the words before you. What was once a "catchy" chorus turns into a beautiful hymn with precious lyrics. I am sure I will be singing this one for a while too!
I chose both my scriptures from Isaiah, one to remind me to stand on the promises and the other, one of the many promises we can stand on.

I did manage two verses on my page , so maybe I am beginning to get used to my 6x6 format!
I managed to keep a little of the patterned paper showing as it is so nice and managed to only use one flower!
I can't seem to get very good photos at the moment ,the light has changed with the weather and I will have to do a little experimenting.

  4. Susan, your page is delightful. I've never scrapped anything using orange, it is so cheerful I'll have to try it. I'm trying Patter's 5x7 inch pages and it seems so small compared to the 6x6, but I know that's silly! Can't wait to see more of your work. Mary E
